What we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it. Short, because we do not do much with it.

What we collect
We only collect what you give us when you get in touch. That is normally:
- Your name
- Your phone number or email address
- The service address, when you want work done
- Whatever you tell us about the problem
You give us this by calling, texting, emailing, or filling in a form on this site. We do not ask for and have no use for your date of birth, your social security number, or your payment card details over this website.
Why we collect it
- To answer your question or call you back
- To schedule a visit and find the property
- To send you an estimate, an invoice, or a warranty record
- To keep a service history, so the next technician knows what was done
That is the whole list. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information. Not to lead brokers, not to anyone.
- We do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
- We do not send marketing texts to a number you gave us for a service call.
Who else sees it
Only the people needed to do the job and keep the business running: our own technicians, and service providers such as our website host, email provider, and accounting or payment software. They may only use it to provide that service to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Analytics and cookies
This site does not use advertising cookies and does not run third-party ad trackers. We may use standard web analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages people read and how they arrived, so we know what is worth writing more of. That is counted at the level of pages and visits, not individuals, and it is not linked to your service record.
How long we keep it
Job records, estimates and invoices are kept while we may still be liable for the work and for as long as tax and business records law requires. Enquiries that never became a job are kept for a short period and then discarded.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Since we do not sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of on that front. Email or call us and we will handle it.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
